MADDALENA GRASSI<\/strong><\/h5>\n

At 19<\/strong>, Maddalena discovered that she had a fatal chronic disease<\/strong> and required constant assistance. His condition affects family, friends and professionals.
\nMaddalena leaves a profound mark, in particular on aunt Matilde<\/strong> who wishes to replicate the experience of care encountered<\/strong> thanks to the professionals who had assisted her niece until the end<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMatilde experiences her pain with the discretion and depth that her temperament dictates. In the months full of her niece’s illness, she had not missed how she had been cared for by the nurses and doctors who were her friends, recognizing in their approach a central point in the struggle between a desperate resignation and a vibrant sharing of a question of infinity and eternity”.< \/blockquote><\/p>\n

THE BEGINNINGS<\/h5>\n

In 1991 a group of professionals came together, discovering they shared the same opinion on life, work and care.<\/p>\n

Matilde Grassi, then Mayor of Concorezzo, eager to support a useful work in memory of Maddalena, created the Foundation.<\/p>\n

The Foundation’s activity was immediately oriented towards the management of complex patients.<\/p>\n

Management requires an integrated approach to develop personalized care and rehabilitation paths that increasingly include the empowerment of the patient and his family.<\/p>\n
